Un professor demana an es seus alumnes: \u00abCercau un parell d\u2019exemples de lo que vos acab d\u2019explicar. Per\u00f2\u00a0<em>un parell mallorqu\u00ed<\/em>, \u00bfeh?\u00bb. Ets alumnes entenen que no han de cercar-ne dos, d\u2019exemples, sin\u00f3 uns quants, una partida \u2013m\u00e9s de dos, en tot cas\u2013. Perqu\u00e8 a s\u2019escola els ho han ensenyat d\u2019aquesta manera. Els han dit que\u00a0<em>un parell<\/em>\u00a0eren dos, per\u00f2 que a Mallorca sa cosa no anava aix\u00ed. I els ho han ensenyat b\u00e9, si lo que compta \u00e9s s\u2019etimologia o s\u2019\u00fas que se fa d\u2019aquesta locuci\u00f3 a Catalunya i Val\u00e8ncia. Ara b\u00e9, si lo que compta \u00e9s sa forma de xerrar d\u2019aqu\u00ed, llavors els han donat figues per bigues.<\/p>\n<p>I \u00e9s que sa segona frase des professor sobra, \u00e9s redundant. A Mallorca tothom sap que un parell s\u00f3n m\u00e9s de dos. Haver de precisar-ho afegint s\u2019adjectiu\u00a0<em>mallorqu\u00ed<\/em>\u00a0darrera de\u00a0<em>parell<\/em>\u00a0revela que es marc de refer\u00e8ncia d\u2019aquest professor i aquests alumnes \u2013i, en general, de s\u2019escola p\u00fablica i concertada\u2013 \u00e9s Catalunya i no Mallorca. Per descomptat, an ets al\u00b7lots no els faria cap mal que tamb\u00e9 els ensenyassin que a Catalunya un parell s\u00f3n dos, que existeix, per dir-ho aix\u00ed,\u00a0<em>un parell catal\u00e0<\/em>. Entre altres raons, per no confondre-se si un dia s\u2019han d\u2019entendre amb un catal\u00e0 que xerra catal\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Per\u00f2, fora d\u2019aix\u00f2,\u00a0<em>un parell<\/em>, a Mallorca, \u00abtant poden esser tres, com cinc, com dos-cents\u00bb (<em>Diccionari catal\u00e0-valenci\u00e0-balear<\/em>); mai dos. Per aix\u00f2 no s\u2019explica que, en un manual de pr\u00f2xima aparici\u00f3 on s\u2019agrupen ses formes ling\u00fc\u00edstiques pr\u00f2pies de ses Illes Balears, a s\u2019apartat relatiu an ets indefinits i quantitatius i com a equivalent d\u2019<em>alguns, uns quants<\/em>\u00a0i\u00a0<em>una partida de<\/em>, s\u2019hi llegesqui: \u00abEs pot usar tamb\u00e9 la locuci\u00f3\u00a0<em>un parell de<\/em>, per\u00f2 nom\u00e9s pot fer refer\u00e8ncia a dos elements\u00bb.<br \/>\nO sigui, just lo que no \u00e9s propi d\u2019aqu\u00ed.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Una aula d\u2019un institut de secund\u00e0ria d\u2019una localitat qualsevol de Mallorca, quan no hi ha vaga.
